Most routine blood work is designed to catch disease that has already arrived. Longevity medicine asks a different question: which measurable signals move earliest, and which of them respond to how you live? The answer is a small, disciplined set of markers — not a hundred-line printout.
Metabolic signal before disease
Fasting insulin, ApoB and hs-CRP shift years before a conventional diagnosis. Together they describe how efficiently you handle fuel, how much atherogenic cargo is circulating, and how much low-grade inflammation is running in the background.
- ApoB — the particle count that drives cardiovascular risk, more informative than LDL-C alone
