What your genome can — and cannot — tell you

Genomic screening is a map of predispositions, not a verdict. Read correctly, it changes what you screen for and how early you start.

A genome does not decide your future. It weights the odds, and it tells a clinician where to look earlier and more often than a standard schedule would suggest.

Where it changes decisions

  • Pharmacogenomics — how you metabolise common medications
  • Carrier and hereditary cancer risk, with the screening cadence that follows
  • Lipid and cardiometabolic predispositions such as Lp(a)
Genes load the gun; environment and behaviour decide whether it is ever fired.

Every genomic result we return is delivered in consultation, with a written plan and a follow-up date. A report without interpretation is noise.
